We recognize the importance of sexual health in the overall health of student lives. We are dedicated to providing a full range of sexual and reproductive health resources and services encompassing sexuality, contraception, STI screening, pregnancy services and healthy sexual relationships.
The areas of sexual and reproductive health are very broad, and include many topics. Some common topics are:

Student Wellness Services
Women’s health services are provided by a board-certified OB/GYN physician and two certified Nurse Practitioners. Services include comprehensive well-woman’s exams and preventative services, as well as problem visits.
Campus Health Clinics
The general Campus Health medical clinics can provide contraception and testing for sexually transmitted diseases. To make an appointment, call 919-966-2281.

Contraception and Safer Sex Options
Many hormonal contraception options are available to students. Please see our contraception page for more information. UNC Campus Health provides students with various free safer sex supplies to protect against pregnancy and sexually transmitted infections; safer sex supplies available to students include male and female condoms, dental dams and more.
