Laura is a pre-doctoral psychology intern at CAPS and a doctoral candidate in clinical psychology at La Salle University in Philadelphia, PA. Laura also completed her MA in clinical psychology at Teachers College Columbia University, and her BA in psychology at Syracuse University. Laura aims to create a warm and collaborative therapy space, in which clients feel supported and accepted as they explore their current difficulties. Her therapy approach integrates cognitive-behavioral, relational, and psychodynamic theories, while emphasizing a multicultural framework. Laura’s primary clinical interests include anxiety and adjustment, identity development, body image concerns and disordered eating, relationship issues, women’s health concerns, and social justice concerns. In her free time, Laura enjoys reading true crime and mystery novels, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.
