Leslie received her Bachelor of Arts (B.A) in Psychology and Religious Studies from Duke University and her Master of Arts of Counseling Psychology at the University of St. Thomas. She is a doctoral candidate in the Counseling Psychology PsyD program at the University of St. Thomas. Leslie’s professional interests include identity exploration, student adjustment, anxiety, depression, exploring interpersonal relationships, spirituality, and multicultural issues. Using a person-centered and strengths-based approach, Leslie emphasizes clients’ individual experiences and advocates for mental health spaces that are unique and accessible to all groups. Outside of CAPS, Leslie enjoys reading, baking and cooking, DIY projects, weightlifting, water aerobics, and spending time with loved ones.
