The Heels Care Network recently launched a confidential online self-assessment tool to help individuals learn more about their mental health. Users can anonymously answer a brief series of questions and receive personalized feedback along with supportive resources based on their responses.
This tool is designed as an informational and supportive resource, connecting users to on-campus and community options while reminding them that help is always available.
The screening begins with a few questions about the user and any previous treatment for mental health conditions, followed by sections focused on:
- Anxiety and depression
- Suicidal thoughts
- Trauma and PTSD
- Substance use
- Eating disorders
While the self-assessment does not provide a diagnosis, it offers guidance and resources that may help you better understand your experiences and take the next step toward support.
For professional evaluation and care:
- Carolina students can schedule an initial assessment with CAPS to explore their needs and discuss personalized options with a mental health professional.
- Non-students are encouraged to connect with a therapist or healthcare provider for further support.
Take a moment to learn more about your mental health and explore available support through the Heels Care Network online self-assessment tool.
