CAPS Training Programs

The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill's Counseling and Psychological Services offers a 2000 hour, twelve month, full-time APA-accredited Health Services Psychology internship. Interns participate in a wide array of clinical experiences, while receiving high quality supervision. Our training program places primary emphasis on helping interns to develop clinical expertise and strong skills in individual therapy, triage, crisis work and group therapy.

We don’t anticipate having any openings for the 21/22 academic year, but please check back in January 2021 to confirm. If  you have any questions about the program, please contact Amy Leach, LCSW at aleach@email.unc.edu
