If you need to withdraw from the semester for psychological difficulties, complete an initial assessment. A psychological withdrawal for the current semester is processed through Counseling and Psychological Services and must be completed before the last day of classes. Clearance by CAPS is required for readmittance and must be completed 6 – 10 weeks before the first day of class in the semester desired to return. To be cleared, a provider must fill out the Clearance Form and return it to Campus Health or CAPS.

- The deadline for clearance for Spring 2026 is November 26th
- The deadline for clearance for 2026 Summer Session I is April 1st
- The deadline for clearance for 2026 Summer Session II is May 11th
- The deadline for clearance for Fall 2026 is July 6th
