CAPS providers are embedded within various campus schools and programs.
Embedded therapists develop deep understanding about the academic program as well as stressors and challenges faced by students within it. They use that knowledge to serve their students better in treatment and offer proactive groups and outreach to best meet the needs of the student population in the program.
Students in the following academic programs can initiate services by emailing the embedded therapists directly or through a CAPS initial assessment.
- School of Law: Tora Taylor-Glover
- Biological & Biomedical Sciences Program: Zoe Silverman
- Eshelman School of Pharmacy: Ardith Burkes
- Hussman School of Journalism: Carolyn Ebeling
- Gillings School of Global Public Health: Claudio Caceres
- Adams School of Dentistry: Chris Crowther
- School of Social Work: Vitina Monacello
